Our wild venison haunch steaks have a delicate, gamey taste and are a great alternative to beef fillet steak. Cut from the haunch, these are naturally lean and need only a few minutes in a frying pan. We recommend cooking venison in butter as it really adds to the flavour of the steak when cooked. Pan-fry for 4-5 minutes each side for medium rare. Serve with mashed root veg, a rich gravy and a large glass of red! Two steaks per pack. Our wild game is sourced from English estates. Our butchers carefully prepare the game after a short period of hanging. Please be aware our game may contain shot.
