Buffalo Mozzarella (100g)

This creamy and delicious mozzarella is made onsite at Buffalicious’ West Country farm shop in Somerset. Their herd of around 250 water buffalo are slow reared and grass fed on the family farm. They are housed during the cold winters then free to range the lush green grasses of the Somerset countryside throughout the rest of the year. Water buffalo are an old breed of bovine animal and have not been interbred or altered for thousands of years. This means they are not fast grown or made to produce large volumes of milk. Everything is done at their own pace, producing low volumes of milk which is high in nutritional quality.
