Butterflied Drumsticks in Shepton Rub (800g)

Our tender chicken drumsticks are the perfect BBQ cut. Butterflied for both ease and even cooking, they have been marinated in a sweet but spicy house rub including cayenne, fennel seeds, oregano and garlic. The butterflied cut gives a larger surface area, so the rub covers more of the drumstick and infuses even more flavour into the meat. Our chicken is reared in truly free-range conditions by Stuart Perkins at Castlemead Farm. Stuart is a third-generation farmer and keeps his chickens in small flocks of 200 so he can focus on the highest standards of welfare. The chickens are never given antibiotics and are slow grown, living twice the length of a supermarket bird. Cooking Instructions 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4. 2. Remove the butterflied drumsticks from the fridge and spread them out, skin-side up, on a lined baking tray. 3. Place on the top shelf of the oven and cook for 25-30 minutes, turning half way through. 5. Rest is best – when removed from the oven, aOur tender chicken drumsticks are the perfect BBQ cut.
